CWC · OUR INSPIRATION
We - Claudia and Christoph Wagner - set out to capture the charm, landscape and spirit of Austria in a series of unique niche fragrances.
This personal vision led to the founding of CWC in 2021. Together, we established CWC Handels GmbH, based in Gmunden, in the Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria.
Our fragrances are more than perfumes encased in handcrafted GMUNDNER ceramic – they are a piece of Austria to enjoy every day.

THE STORY BEHIND THE BRAND
The brand CWC carries our initials – Claudia and Christoph Wagner – and traces back to a pair of cufflinks we designed ourselves for our wedding.
From this symbol, both our emblem and the entire visual identity of our brand were born. Every product and the complete design concept were developed in-house through our own agency, WAGNER-Projekt GmbH – from the very first idea to full realization.
Even the original fragrance creations, GREEN STAG and GREYFLAME, were composed by us personally. They were then refined in France by an experienced perfumer, based on the raw essences we created ourselves.
OUR FOCUS ON QUALITY
From the very beginning of product development, we placed special emphasis on long-lasting fragrances of the highest quality, appealing design, and added value.
AND - particularly important to us: MADE IN AUSTRIA
GMUNDNER KERAMIK (founded in 1492) is our licensing partner and exclusively produces the high-quality, reusable ceramic sleeves for CWC’s 75ml perfumes.
