At GMUNDNER Keramik, the ceramic sleeves for our 75 ml editions are made and decorated by hand. Each is either painted or decorated using the traditional Gmunden technique known as flaming. This technique gave GREYFLAME its name and was added to Austria's national inventory of intangible cultural heritage in 2021.
When the perfume runs out, the ceramic remains. The sleeve can be removed from the glass bottle and used again as a design accessory, perhaps for eyeliner, kohl pencils, lipsticks and make-up brushes, as a small vase, or simply kept as a memento.
